The background is bugging me. I eyeballed the perspective. I had a lot of trouble with this one, but I wanted to finish what I started.



My computer has been freezing randomly, somthing to do with a USB port I think, so I just wanted this thing done. My beloved computer is on its last leg though. :( I think we all know how hard that can be. As for the subject, I was drawing a lot of men lately, I needed a change. Is it just me, or do you have very compartmentalized drawing days?

This isnt finished, but I got tired of it and I'm not sure if I'll continue. He looked handsom at first, but it bored me, so I aged him and he ended looking like a character I've designed before.

Number One

It's about time a joined the blogosphere, my link to the information superhighway that is Internet.

I've been doing a lot of drawing lately, enough to keep a blog going, and hopefully the blog will help keep my drawing going, so why not give this a shot.

I'm really into fugly and odd faces, so fun to render!



So, I guess i'll start off with a digital painting in photoshop. I really wanted this to be much more of a caricature, but I got lazy and didn't turn back once I started - which in a way isnt really utilizing the digital medium. This was just a test of lighting really, and a few digital painting techniqes I was observing and wanted to try out.
